African Cultural Festivals & Gala Nights
Our annual Minnesota African Cultural Festival is the ultimate family reunion for the diaspora. This vibrant, day-long celebration is a joyful immersion into the sights, sounds, and flavors of Africa. From our free family-friendly Park Event to the elegant Gala Night, it is a sacred space to honor our heritage, strengthen our bonds, and celebrate as one community.
African Fashion Week Minnesota
Our fashion is a bold and beautiful declaration of our identity. Through our spectacular annual African Fashion Show, we provide a premier platform for designers who masterfully blend modern style with the ethnic patterns and elegance of African cultures. We are building a supportive ecosystem that celebrates our local talent and promotes a more inclusive fashion industry.
African Business Development
Entrepreneurship is our preferred profession. This program is dedicated to empowering African-owned businesses here in Minnesota by providing a powerful spotlight for growth. Through our annual festival and targeted training, we create invaluable opportunities for our entrepreneurs to showcase their services, network with corporate and government entities, and build a thriving local economy.
Festival of the Returned
For many in the African American community, the journey to self-discovery begins with the question of origin. We serve as a compassionate guide on this sacred path, providing resources and support for those seeking to trace their lineage back to the continent. We help transform a DNA test result into a profound, spiritual reconnection with a lost heritage.
African Arts & Crafts
The soul of Africa is expressed through its magnificent art. This project forges a living link between our community and the diverse artistic traditions of the continent. We celebrate the masterpieces of the past and the innovations of the present, creating a space for cultural education and appreciation. We believe art is a powerful bridge that connects us to our shared history.
Cultural Impact & Training
